Merc 'definitely overachieved'

Toto Wolff is exceptionally proud of Mercedes' achievements in 2013 as the team exceeded their own expectations. Claiming three race victories and an additional six podiums, Mercedes scored 360 points this past season to beat Ferrari to second by six. And although they were a distant second to Red Bull Racing, Merc executive director Wolff admits P2 was more than his team had hoped for. "I think being in second position in the Championship, we definitely overachieved in terms of what our target was," he told Autosport.
