Montezemolo expresses concerns about F1 2014

– Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo has said he fears the sport could be tough to follow next season and that as result fans could be put off. There will be a number of regulation changes in 2014, including, most notably the switch to 1.6-litre turbo engines, and Montezemolo remains somewhat sceptical about the merits of all these measures. “There will be a lot of changes, some strongly supported by us, such as the return, albeit partial at the moment, of testing,” di Montezemolo told journalists ahead of the Christmas break. “The design of the new powertrain was very demanding, but it’s really fascinating.
