Schumacher in 'critical condition' after skiing accident

Michael Schumacher is in a "critical condition" following a skiing accident in the French Alps resort of Meribel. The 44-year-old was thought to have sustained a minor knock to the head, but his condition has worsened in the last few hours after he was transferred from Moutiers hospital to a much larger facility in Grenoble. Whilst he was conscious throughout, the German is now in a coma according to his management. It's unclear whether he has fallen into the coma, or it has been induced by his doctor.
