Michael Schumacher has been placed in an induced coma following the head injuries he suffered during a skiing accident in France on Sunday. Hospitalised in Grenoble for treatment, the German’s condition is “critical” with the seven-time world champion fighting for his life. Schumacher was initially taken to a local hospital and later transferred to a hospital in the city of Grenoble for a fuller examination and a battery of tests.
