Lotus will not have their 2014 car – the E22 – ready for Jerez test 6 January, 2014 Eric Boullier with Nick Chester Lotus have revealed that they will not have their 2014 car – designated the E22 – ready in time for the first weekend of testing at Jerez at the end of this month. In a Q&A released by the team with technical director Nick Chester said, 'We’re going to keep our car under wraps a little longer than some other teams. We’ve decided that attending the Jerez test isn’t ideal for our build and development programme.
