New Jersey silent over contract claims

– Organisers of the proposed Grand Prix of America in New Jersey are remaining silent over claims by Formula 1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone that the race contract has been breached. In a recent interview with Autoweek, Ecclestone said he has not been paid since the initial agreement was signed back in 2011, while also revealing that several groups are contemplating the possibility of taking over the event from the management currently in place to ensure that it goes ahead as planned.
