Patrick Louis steps down as Lotus CEO

– Lotus will feature an altered management structure in 2014, with Patrick Louis resigning as CEO. Louis, who joined the Enstone-based outfit in 2010 after current team owners Genii Capital bought out French manufacturer Renault, initially held the role of COO, before stepping up to CEO ahead of the 2012 campaign. Louis is set to tackle a new role with Genii Automotive, although he will keep his place on the Lotus board. Matthew Carter has inherited the position of Lotus team CEO following Louis' decision to depart.
