Fuel flow meter homologated for 2014

– Gill Sensors has announced that its Ultrasonic Fuel Flow Meter has been homologated by governing body the FIA, officially clearing its use in Formula 1 and the World Endurance Championship (WEC) from 2014 onwards. Next season, Formula 1 will see its drivers limited to 100 kg of fuel for the entirety of a Grand Prix, with the standard flow meter in place to offer real-time data and accurately measure bi-directions fuel flow.
