Abiteboul: Huge task succeeding in F1

Caterham CEO Cyril Abiteboul concedes there are no "shortcuts" to F1 success as his team seeks their first World Championship point in 2014. Having started the Formula One team from scratch in 2010, Caterham have struggled to get up to speed. The team did at least manage to avoid the wooden spoon in the standings for the first three year before losing out to Marussia last season. "It is difficult to know if we could have done a different job," Abiteboul told Autosport. "The only shortcut that potentially could have been found, is by getting a proper association with bigger teams.
