Father of Jenson Button, John, dies at 70

The father of Formula One driver Jenson Button has died of a suspected heart attack. He was 70. A statement released on Monday by the driver's agent says John Button died at home in the south of France on Sunday. John Button, who used to compete in rallycross, was a guiding force behind his son's rise into Formula One and was a familiar face on the circuit. Jenson Button won the F1 championship in 2009 while driving for Brawn. He currently drives for McLaren.
