Dennis returns as CEO of McLaren Group

Ron Dennis has been appointed to the additional role of McLaren Group chief executive officer with immediate effect and he has promised to undertake a 'thorough and objective review' over the coming weeks in a bid to return the company to winning ways.No specific details were given on how this might affect the McLaren F1 team, although last month there were rumours he might actually replace current team principal, Martin Whitmarsh and return to head up the F1 operation himself, something which this latest announcement will do little to quell [see separate story - HERE].Dennis, a shareholder of McLaren since 1980 and the architect of its modern era, was the CEO of the Group from 1982 to...
