Horner: Female in F1 a matter of time

Christian Horner says it is 'only a matter of time' before a female driver makes it to F1, although the Red Bull team boss insists there aren't currently any women capable of competing at the front in the sport.The discussion over whether or not a female driver will feature on the grid again is one that has been ongoing for sometime, with the late Maria de Villota and Susie Wolff having taken up roles with Marussia and Williams in recent seasons.Wolff took part in the Young Driver Test with Williams last year and will hope for further test outings in future but Horner said he wasn't sure she would have earned her current opportunity on merit.“Susie is a very capable driver,” he told...
