Petrov tests DTM car

Former Renault and Caterham driver Vitaly Petrov looks to be following Force India refugee Paul di Resta into the German touring car series DTM. Mercedes announced on Thursday that the Russian is currently making his DTM test debut at the Portimao track. Boss Toto Wolff explained: "Russia is a highly significant market for the DTM and for Mercedes-Benz. "Vitaly ... expressed a desire to test drive our DTM (car and) we were only too happy to make his wish possible."
