Alonso hoping to emulate Schumacher

Ferrari Enlarge Fernando Alonso is aiming to emulate Michael Schumacher by winning his first title with Ferrari in his fifth year at the team. Schumacher won five titles in total with Ferrari between 2000 and 2004, but went four years between 1996 and 1999 without winning the championship. Alonso, now in his fifth year at the team, is hoping the new F14 T will offer him the chance to win the title this year. "Schumacher won in his fifth year with Ferrari, I am in my fifth year now so hopefully I can repeat some of the success he had," he said.
