Alonso looks to emulate Schumacher

Heading into his fifth season with Ferrari, Fernando Alonso is drawing inspiration from Michael Schumacher who took five years to win with the Scuderia. Joining Ferrari in 1996, Schumacher won his first title in 2000 and that sparked a record-breaking run from the German. Schumcher went onto win five titles on the trot, a feat that Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel is looking to match this season. Alonso, though, is determined to put an end to Vettel's run and start his own with Ferrari. "I think Schumacher won in the fifth year with Ferrari," he said at Saturday's launch of the F14T. "I'm in the fifth year now so hopefully I can repeat some of the success that he had....
