Claire Williams emphasises the importance of Mercedes partnership
Claire Williams has emphasised the importance of the Grove-based outfit’s new partnership with Mercedes for the forthcoming Formula 1 season, after Williams parted company with Renault after a dreadful 2013 campaign. With Felipe Massa joining Valtteri Bottas for the new season, Williams will be keen to improve once the season begins.
With testing now underway at the Jerez circuit in Spain, Claire Williams has expressed her belief that the partnership with Mercedes was the best option for Williams in 2014. Despite returning to their winning ways in 2012 at the hands of Pastor Maldonado, their 2013 campaign was marred with frustrating uncompetitiveness as the Venezuelan ace struggled...
