Perez: 'Today was a lot more productive'

Force India driver Sergio Perez says the second day of winter testing at the Jerez circuit was 'a lot more productive' after he gained 37 laps of experience at the wheel of the team's new car. The 24-year-old set the fifth fastest time of the day but lost out on potential track time after his VJM07 ground to a halt early in the afternoon. He will hand over driving duties to team-mate Nico Hulkenberg on Thursday. 'Today was a lot more productive than yesterday so in that respect we are making progress as we learn about the car,' he said.
