Schumacher 'in the process of being woken'

Michael Schumacher's manager, Sabine Kehm, has confirmed reports that doctors at Grenoble hospital have begun the process of waking the German from his induced coma. Kehm had previously dismissed the rumour as "speculation", but today confirmed the news, choosing to announce it only once the process has begun. She warned that the process could take "a long time" and reiterated calls for privacy. "The family of Michael Schumacher is requesting to respect its privacy, and to not disturb the doctors treating Michael in their work," read a statement. "At the same time, the family wishes to express sincere appreciation for the world wide sympathy....
