Schumacher to begin ‘waking up' process from induced coma

Michael Schumacher will undergo a 'waking up' process after being in a medically-induced coma since December 29th. Doctors at the Grenoble hospital stated that the process could take a long time and the family have issued a statement through long-time manager Sabine Khem: 'Michael's sedation is being reduced in order to allow the start of the waking up process which may take a long time,'. 'For the protection of the family, it was originally agreed by the interested parties to communicate this information only once this process was consolidated.'
