Pirelli expecting more meaningful running in Bahrain

Pirelli motorsport director Paul Hembery has said that the Italian tyre manufacturer is expecting a more meaningful test in Bahrain in two weeks' time after a somewhat disjointed first run in Jerez this week. With most of the teams having got to grips with their new cars in Jerez, the second test in Bahrain should be more representative and allow for a greater focus on the 2014 spec tyre that Pirelli has produced. After a tumultuous 2013 season, Hembery has said that his team is willing to react to any criticism that may arise from this evaluation of the new compounds.
