Lauda: Ecclestone criticism makes no sense

ercedes non-executive chairman Niki Lauda has said Bernie Ecclestone’s criticism last week of the new V6 turbo-charged engines was misjudged and pointless. “I do not understand Bernie,” Lauda told German newspaper, Bild. “The decision on the new engines was taken jointly by all five years ago. “The criticism now makes no sense.” Ecclestone was as usual pretty vocal, and remarked that 'the whole thing with the new engines is totally absurd' - although it should be noted he was never in favour of the switch from the V8s to the greener V6 power-plants. “Look at the last few days.
