Renault invites Red Bull, Caterham and Toro Rosso to Lotus ‘promotional event' at Jerez 7 February, 2014 Have Renault sorted out the problems with their V6 turbo F1 engine? Renault has invited representatives of their embattled teams – Red Bull, Caterham and Toro Rosso – to attend the ‘promotional event' which the brand new Lotus E22 will undergo at Jerez today and Saturday.
As we reported earlier this week, Renault are footing the bill for the two 100 km tests, which for them is a vital early step towards getting their all new V6 turbo powertrain and components operating effectively, in the aftermath of their woeful four days at the first test, late last month.
