F1 auction nets over £20,000 for children’s charity

– A series of photographs taken by world famous racing drivers and team principals raised over £20,000 at auction for the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity earlier this month, it has been confirmed. The pictures were sold by international auctioneers Coys for the second Zoom charity picture sale at the InterContinental London Park Lane Hotel. It was a star studded evening with British racing legend and 1996 F1 world champion Damon Hill, Red Bull Racing team principal Christian Horner, BBC F1 TV presenter Suzi Perry and F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone in attendance.
