Lotus and Renault deny problems and rule breaking during Jerez run 11 February, 2014 Pastor Maldonado in the Lotus E22 at Jerez Lotus and Renault have given the thumbs up to the E22 after ‘Promotional Event' running  of the new car at Jerez last weekend, while claiming that no rules were broken during the two days in Spain. In the aftermath of a problem packed start to the preseason testing for Renault powered F1 teams at Jerez late last month, all eyes were on the first running of the E22, at the same venue, which featured tweaks to resolve issues with the Renault turbo V6.
