Lotus reveals photo of E22 in action

– Lotus has published the first image of its latest Formula 1 challenger, entitled the E22, in action. The Enstone-based team was the only of the sport's 11 outfits to miss the opening pre-season test at the Circuito de Jerez late last month, but arrived in Spain to carry out promotional running over the weekend. Pastor Maldonado was behind the wheel and, although the former Williams driver completed just one lap on the opening day of the private event, he went on to complete the permitted 100km with Pirelli demonstration tyres. Lotus told GPUpdate.net last week that the new car will be officially launched ahead of the next Bahrain test.
