Rush stunt double killed in accident

The man who was Daniel Bruhl's stunt double in the film Rush has been killed in a traffic accident in Italy, according to French and German reports. Bild and French website F1i.com are reporting that Michele Pane, 50, disappeared last Sunday and was found after four days of police searching. Pane was found in his Renault Megane in a canal running between the towns of Pavie and Piacenza. Police say Pane, a former Italian national karting champion, probably crashed as a result of bad road and weather conditions.
