– Sky Sports F1 commentator and pundit Martin Brundle has hit out at Jacques Villeneuve after the Canadian was critical of the sport. Villeneuve, who won the drivers’ title in 1997, told reporters last week that the 'epic had been taken of F1' and that it was ‘no longer special’ as a result of the latest raft of regulation changes brought in for 2014. Brundle was not impressed, and made his feelings known via his Twitter account, @MBrundleF1. “Angers me when former F1 drivers stick a boot into F1 for publicity. They had privileged chances, success [and] cash. Give something positive back,” tweeted the former F1 racer.
