Pirelli to prepare for tyre warmer ban

Sauber F1 Team Pirelli is to begin preparations for the 2015 tyre warmer ban at this week's test in Bahrain. Each team will receive an extra set of medium tyres in order to test their behaviour. 'Pirelli is also bringing an extra set of medium tyres per team to Bahrain, with 2014 construction and compound', read a statement released by the Italian company. 'However, these are actually considered to be ‘prototypes’ as their purpose is to test tyre behaviour without warming blankets, which will be banned from 2015 onwards.'
