Hamilton to open Bahrain test for Mercedes

Mercedes has confirmed its driver schedule for this week's test at the Bahrain International Circuit. Lewis Hamilton will be the first to drive the new W05 at the Bahrain International Circuit. The 2008 world champion will be at the wheel of the car on Wednesday and Friday. He will then hand over driving duties to team-mate Nico Rosberg for Thursday and Saturday, the team confirmed on Twitter. The Brackley-based outfit's 2014 machine proved to be the most reliable of the opening winter test in Jerez.
