Lotus hit by energy store issues

Lotus F1 Team Lotus's public debut of their E22 was truncated after the team encountered issues with the energy store on the first day of testing in Bahrain. Romain Grosjean took the E22 out on track early on but then spent much of the day in the garage. Grosjean eventually completed eight laps as Lotus had to change the entire Energy Store Unit. "Obviously that wasn’t the day we wanted to have and there are few conclusions we can draw so far as our running was so limited," said trackside operations director Alan Permane.
