Susie Wolff to drive two FP1 sessions for Williams this year

Sutton Images Enlarge Susie Wolff will take part in two Friday morning practice sessions at grands prix this season after expanding her role as a Williams development driver. Wolff will become the first woman to drive at a grand prix weekend since Giovanna Amati competed for Brabham in 1992. She joined Williams in 2012 and took part in her first official F1 test session at Silverstone last year. "Susie has become a valued member of our driver line up and 2014 will see her take on more responsibilities as we seek to make a strong step forward in performance," technical director Pat Symonds said.
