Vergne enjoying increased responsibility

Jean-Eric Vergne says the extra responsibility he has at Toro Rosso is a challenge which he is relishing.With Daniel Ricciardo moving to Red Bull for 2014, Toro Rosso promoted rookie Daniil Kvyat in to a race seat alongside Vergne. Issues in pre-season testing have limited the track time for both drivers, but speaking exclusively to Crash.net in Bahrain Vergne said he was happy to shoulder more expectation to lead the recovery as the more experienced driver.“I believe they expect from me the day we are trouble-free to perform straight away and not to be a lap or two late,” Vergne said. “I am pretty happy with this position and I am quite happy to move the team forward.
