Felipe Massa had no complaints after his first day of testing, which saw him not only top the timesheets but almost reach 100 laps. The Williams driver, who has joined the Grove-based team after eight seasons with Ferrari, was in a good form on Saturday as he put his FW36 through its paces. A spate of quick laps in the afternoon saw Massa lower the benchmark time to a 1:33.258 while he also covered 99 laps on the day. The Brazilian's time was the fastest recorded at the Sakhir circuit during this year's testing. "We had a very good day doing almost 100 laps," he said.
