Pirelli have locked all 11 Formula One teams into one day of testing during this season, putting an end to last year's controversy. Last season Pirelli came in for a great deal of criticism due to blow-outs and high degradation. However, with in-season testing banned, Pirelli had to resort to private outings to try solve the problem. This led to a lot of finger pointing as while the likes of Ferrari provided an old car for their test, Mercedes put in the laps in their 2013 challenger. This year, though, in-season testing is back on the schedule and Pirelli have already booked dates in which to test with each of the 11 teams.
