GPUpdate readers back Hamilton for title

– Lewis Hamilton has been tipped to claim the 2014 Formula 1 world title in the latest GPUpdate.net poll. The Mercedes driver, who previously claimed honours with McLaren in 2008, received a majority 25 per cent share of the vote, five per cent more than nearest rival Kimi Räikkönen, who has returned to Ferrari this season. Fernando Alonso placed third with a 17 per cent share, five per cent ahead of Hamilton's team-mate, Nico Rosberg, while Williams driver Felipe Massa, who set the pace in pre-season testing, finished fifth with nine per cent.
