Berger breaks arm in skiing accident

– Ex-Formula 1 driver Gerhard Berger suffered a broken arm while skiing in native Austria last week. According to local media, Berger, 54, was skiing off-piste in poor conditions on Thursday when he fell and hit a drain pipe. He was taken to the St Johann am Tirol hospital, where he spent three nights under observation. The former ATS, Arrows, Benetton, Ferrari and McLaren driver will now continue his recovery at home. The incident follows Michael Schumacher's fall last December. According to the latest official statement, the seven-time Formula 1 World Champion remains in the "wake up phase" from his medically-induced coma.
