Schumacher showing 'encouraging signs' – management

Formula One legend Michael Schumacher is showing “small, encouraging signs” as he continues to fight back from severe head injuries sustained in a skiing accident, according to his management. “We are and remain confident that Michael will pull through and will wake up,” the seven-time Formula One world champion’s manager Sabine Kehm said in a statement issued on behalf of his family. “There sometimes are small, encouraging signs, but we also know that this is the time to be very patient.” Schumacher, who raced in Formula One from 1991 to 2006 before making a three-year comeback in 2010, has been lying comatose in a French hospital since late December after falling and...
