Race finish still possible - Maldonado

Sutton Images Enlarge Pastor Maldonado believes it is possible for his Lotus to see the chequered flag at Sunday's Australian Grand Prix, even though he failed to set a qualifying time. Maldonado will be allowed to start the race, but having completed just 20 laps all weekend his chances of finishing the race seem slim. In qualifying he had a problem with his power unit that prevented him from leaving the pits immediately, and by the time it was rectified the rain meant he could not set a competitive lap time.
