Mallya wants Force India to build on Oz form

– Force India F1 boss Vijay Mallya has said his team learned a ‘huge amount’ en-route to a double points finish in the Australian Grand Prix last weekend. Nico Hülkenberg and Sergio Pérez brought their VJM07’s home in sixth and tenth places following the opening round in the 2014 Formula 1 World Championship - albeit only after Daniel Ricciardo was excluded - and Mallya now wants them to build on that form when the circus heads to Malaysia. “Starting the season with points is what we were aiming to do so we're happy with the result,” Mallya stated. “Nico drove an excellent race and was able to fight near the front for most of the race, eventually earning us good points....
