FIA to hear Red Bull appeal over Ricciardo Australian GP exclusion on April 14

The FIA has confirmed that Red Bull’s appeal against the exclusion of Daniel Ricciardo from the Australian Grand Prix will be heard on April 14. Ricciardo – who had come home second on his Red Bull debut – was excluded from last week’s season opener in Australia after FIA stewards found his car to have exceeded the maximum fuel flow rate of 100kg/h during the race. Red Bull, who encountered inconsistencies with the two fuel flow sensors provide to them by the FIA over the course of the weekend, officially confirmed their intention to appeal Ricciardo’s disqualification to the governing body on Tuesday.
