Jenson Button became the 14th driver in Formula One to register 50 career podiums after he was promoted to third place following the exclusion of Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo at the Australian Grand Prix. But the Briton reached the milestone the slowest among the 14 as he achieved the landmark in his 248th start becoming the only driver to take more than 200 races to reach the number. Button has stood on the podium 26 times with McLaren.
