Trulli: It feels like a proper Formula 1 car

– Former Formula 1 driver Jarno Trulli has given the new Formula E car top marks following his recent run in the machine at the La Ferté Gaucher circuit near Choisy-le-Roi in France. The Italian, who raced at the pinnacle of the sport from 1997 to 2011, winning the Monaco Grand Prix in 2004 as well as taking ten other podiums finishes, spent a day at the wheel of the fully electric Spark-Renault SRT_01E, and at the end was clearly won over. “From inside the cockpit it feels like driving a proper Formula 1 car, the sound is different but you still hear the sound of the electrical engine and gearbox, so in terms of feeling it’s perfect for a racing driver,” he told the official...
