Some Formula 1 fans are tired of discussing the sound of the 2014 power unit and I can't disagree with them. The new V6 turbo is certainly lower in revs and the sound is much more muted than in previous iterations and while some fans are perfectly fine with the lack of noise, others are outraged that the series would lose sight of its visceral appeal and DNA.
