Special Tribute: Formula 1 and Ferrari hearts beat for Michael Schumacher 29 March, 2014 Seventy two messages, one for each of Michael Schumacher’s victories in red, were run over the same number of days on our web site, starting with President Luca di Montezemolo and ending yesterday with one from Rory Byrne, the designer of all the cars with which Michael has won in Formula 1. Rivals, friends, colleagues, even fans, famous names and unknowns all joined together by their affection for a driver who played such an important role in Ferrari’s history and indeed in that of motor sport as a whole.
