A look back: Impressive rookie seasons

March 31st, 2014 (F1plus/Katie Grimmet).- If the initial stages of the 2014 season are anything to go by, it could be a good year for the ‘rookies’. Under a cloud of controversy following a change to the rules and technical regulations, the new drivers have provided a fresh atmosphere to a very different era of Formula 1. Three rookies, each joining from a separate feeder series, may prove to be a much needed distraction for those sceptical of recent changes.
