Magnussen vows to learn from mistake

A contrite Kevin Magnussen has apologised to his McLaren team after "messing" things up in Malaysia. After the highs of the Australian GP where he produced a flawless display to claim his maiden podium in his debut race, came the lows at Sepang as he started eighth on the grid and ended up ninth. His problems started on the first lap as he made contact with Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen and was handed a five-second stop-and-go penalty. He was also handed two penalty points on his licence.
