Red Bull gives Renault ultimatum - report

– Red Bull Racing has issued an ultimatum to Renault and has told the French manufacturer that if there is no notable improvement by July, then they will ‘definitely’ start thinking about an alternative. The report in German newspaper, Bild, flags up the fact that Red Bull has sent a number of its engineers to Renault’s Viry headquarters in a bid to try and help the manufacturer get back on track with it new 1.6 litre V6 turbo-charged engine. “If there is no notable improvement from Renault within two to three months, we will definitely be talking about an alternative [for 2015],” Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko told the ‘paper.
