Ivan Taranov steps up to GP3 with Hilmer Motorsport
Ivan Taranov has made the step up to GP3 after it was today confirmed that he will be racing for Hilmer Motorsport in the championship this season.
The Russian youngster, who has been one of Richland F1′s Rising Stars since our inception back in 2012, has secured the seat at the team which has replaced RUSSIAN TIME in the championship this season.
Following a dominant end to the 2013 season at Silverstone in Formula Renault UK – where he claimed two wins – and a good GP3 test in Abu Dhabi at the end of last year, the 19-year-old will finally make the step up with Hilmer this year.
