Alonso wants Ferrari to be 'more clever'

Fernando Alonso believes Ferrari needs to be "a little more clever" than the other teams if they are to challenge for honours this year. The two-time World Drivers' Championship winner has made a reasonable start to the season, with fourth place finishes in Australia and Malaysia, although he was never really in contention for a podium finish in either race. Speaking to N ahead of this week's Bahrain Grand Prix, the Spaniard admitted that there is a lot of room for improvement at Ferrari and that he is confident that the Maranello team will be within striking distance of the title when the double points race in Abu Dhabi concludes the 2014 season.
