Schumacher showing 'moments of consciousness'

Mercedes AMG Petronas. File Photo. Michael Schumacher is showing 'moments of consciousness', according to his manager Sabine Kehm. Schumacher has been in a coma since a skiing accident at the end of December 2013 but in a statement released on Friday morning, Kehm revealed that the Formula 1 legend is making progress. 'Michael is making progress on the way', read the statement. 'He shows moments of consciousness and awakening. We are on his side during his long and difficult fight, together with the team of the hospital in Grenoble, and we keep remaining confident.' Kehm again reiterated the family's request for privacy.
